Each base has its own riddles and missions, and they take you into country — and stories — you would never have found on your own.
Forest Mission
Built on the Golden Rooster legend that still hangs around this valley. You climb the forest tracks reading the signs the land gives you. It only works here.
Ocean Mission
Coastline and lookouts. The shape of the land is the clue. Wide open, salt in the air, and unmistakably Shirahama.
New Story
Every base we open gets a mission of its own, built out of whatever that place already has.

Laugh & Rough is not just letting you loose in the woods. Insurance, live monitoring and emergency response are all in place — that is exactly what lets you go all in.
Unlimited insurance
Third-party, property and passenger cover with no ceiling. If the worst happens, it is covered.
GPS on every car
Base can see where each car is. If one sits still somewhere it should not, we come and check on you.
SOS with no signal
An SOS button that works where the phone network does not. Help is one press away.
Cameras front, sides and in
Dashcam and cabin cameras record the whole drive — for safety, and for working out what happened if anything does.
Emergency kit on board
First aid, torch, whistle, emergency blanket and a multi-tool in every car. Enough to stay calm a long way from anywhere.

Car: Suzuki Jimny, automatic or manual — choose when you book. We have a limited number, so book early if you want a specific one.
CDA (optional vehicle damage cover) ¥5,500 per day, tax incl. It cuts what you pay if the car is damaged.
Included: a phone on loan (riddles, SOS, directions), interior and exterior camera footage, and your Top 5 Screams film. Return it full. Clothing suited to forest tracks is recommended.
Third-party, property and passenger cover is unlimited. The vehicle itself is not insured. Breaking the terms or leaving the marked route voids cover.
