Vehicle Repair Fees
This page details any repair and compensation charges that apply if a vehicle belonging to Laugh & Rough (Manten Co., Ltd.) is damaged. We are committed to offering fair and reasonable prices for any repairs.
All prices in the table are tax included
- ◆“Battle Scars” are free: We will not charge for any scratches from branches, grass and small stones out on the course and any mud on the tyres as these are unavoidable on the adventure.
- ◆The table below details the charges for any repairs and replacements for more severe damages (per part).
- ◆CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): Any costs for moderate (under ¥100,000) or severe (¥100,000 or more) damage is determined by the actual cost of repair from the table below. If you are covered by CDW → moderate damage costs you ¥0, major damage is capped at ¥300,000. However, without CDW → you pay the full actual cost of repair.
- ◆NOC (Non-Operation Charge): without CDW, or after a breach of the terms, ¥20,000 if the car is returned under its own power / ¥50,000 if it cannot be driven back (plus towing at cost) is charged in addition. With CDW and the rules followed, the NOC is waived (towing at cost).
- ◆Serious misconduct: (deliberate damage, leaving the course, interfering with the camera, drink-driving or driving without a licence, etc.) → CDW becomes void and the full actual cost of repair will be charged.

◆Changing the settings or removing the SD card is prohibited.
Rollover, water damage or write-off
(any major damage)
The following will be charged in cases of excessive driving (exceeding the legal speed limit) or severe strain causing the car to roll, have water damage and the airbags deploy or where the car is totaled.
Value of the vehicle in the event of a total loss including equipment such as the camera, Starlink and the dedicated phone

If the customer has CDW coverage and all terms and conditions were followed

If the customer does not have CDW coverage or there was a breach of the terms and conditions
up to¥700,000
If you do not have CDW coverage or there was a breach of the terms and conditions, you will also be charged for NOC (¥20,000 if you can drive the car back yourself / ¥50,000 if a tow truck is needed + towing cost (at actual cost)). If you are covered by CDW, and the terms were followed, you will not be charged for NOC (towing costs will still apply).
